ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Located in one of the fastest growing communities in southwest Fulton County, A. Philip Randolph Elementary serves a combination of new and established neighborhoods. With a long history of community involvement, parent volunteerism, and commitment to academic rigor, the school-community attracts the best and the brightest.
A true community school, Randolph is a living entity that provides a challenging academic program during the day and interesting co-curricular pursuits in the afternoon and evenings. The seeds of entrepreneurship are sown in Junior Achievement, interest in the performing arts is nurtured through the Randolph Players, and the world's next literary greats are inspired in the Young Authors and Young Writers clubs. WAPR, the school's student-run news network, helps young journalists learn the basics of broadcast news.
The home-school connection also is forged at Randolph with YMCA Prime Time after-school academic and enrichment programs. Conducted in a safe, wholesome learning environment, these programs support students' curricular programs and provide the after-school care so vital to many parents. Workshops also support parental needs by illustrating how parents can best help their children succeed.
At Randolph, the three-pronged team of school, home, and community works together to make sure no parent or child is left behind. Students participate in hands-on math and science activities. Our Instructional Technologist also works with our students in reading and math in the computer lab.
A. Philip Randolph Elementary has been recognized eight consecutive years (1999-2006) by the Georgia Department of Education as Title I Distinguished School.

ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Westlake High School is a diverse and prominent institution of learning located in southwest Atlanta, Georgia. We are a suburban high school located in a predominantly middle class community that is accredited by the Georgia Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
As a part of the Fulton County School System consolidation plan, Westlake was formed by the closing of Westwood High School and Lakeshore High School. Located at the site of the former Westwood campus, Westlake has risen with the best qualities of the two former schools.
The vision of Westlake High School is to operate as a learning community where students are provided a quality education that enables them to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
